Eat a good meal for body strength and endurance.
Alcohol the night before is not recommended prior to getting your tattoo as it thins the blood and makes the task of tattooing harder.
If you show up to your tattoo under the influence of drink or drugs “YOU WILL NOT BE
TATTOOED”
No aspirin the day of your appointment. (Blood thinners will cause more bleeding during your tattoo session). Don’t worry about shaving your tattoo area beforehand, the artist will take care of that at the
time of your season. Drink water and hydrate your body/skin for best healing results.
Most importantly always be pleasant to your artist – remember they can make it hurt!
It’s extremely important to relax your body at this time. It is difficult for the artist to do their best job on a moving canvas. If you need a break, please let the artist know right away, they are professional and will take good care of you.
All our artists are trained in First Aid, CPR, and bloodborne pathogens for your safety. If you become lightheaded or dizziness occurs, it’s usually from low blood sugar, due to improper eating beforehand. It’s not unusual. A sugary sweets and a sugary drink will help bring your blood sugar levels back to normal along with staying hydrated.
Proper tattoo aftercare is essential, we recommend SACRAMETNAL TATTOO balm especially during the healing stage. We will supply you with an aftercare sheet once your tattoo session is complete. Following your tattoo artist’s instructions is crucial, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out for guidance. To maintain the vibrancy of your tattoo, remember to stay hydrated, as well-hydrated skin promotes a healthy “canvas.” Additionally, protect your tattoo with sunscreen to prevent fading caused by sun exposure, which affects lighter inks more. Lastly, keep your skin moisturized to preserve your tattoo’s appearance, but avoid lotions with additives and fragrances, as they can dry out your skin. By following these steps, you can ensure your tattoo always looks amazing for years to come.
